The short version: pay before you build, never after. Sand doesn't expire. Games are generated by AI and may be imperfect. Don't use Sandcastles to make anything illegal or infringing.
What Sandcastles is
You describe a game; we use AI models to generate a playable browser game and host it for you. Output is generated automatically and varies in quality. We don't promise a game will match your description exactly, or that it will be free of bugs.
Accounts
You must be 18 or older to hold an account and are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your password to yourself.
Sand, plans and payment
- Everything is prepaid. Plans are billed monthly in advance; top-up sand is bought outright. We never bill you after the fact for usage.
- Plan sand refreshes each billing cycle and does not roll over. Top-up sand never expires.
- A failed build costs nothing, and repairing a game we broke is always free.
- Cancel a plan any time; it stays active to the end of the paid period and does not renew.
- Refunds: if the product doesn't work for you, write to us within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund unused sand. We may decline refunds where sand has been substantially spent.
Your content and your games
Your prompts are yours. As between you and us, the games generated for you are yours to play, share, and modify. We keep the right to host and back them up so the service works, and to show a game publicly only with your permission. AI-generated output may not be copyrightable and may resemble output produced for other people.
Fair use
Don't use Sandcastles to generate content that is illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property — including recreating a protected game, character, or brand for commercial use. "Unlimited" plans are subject to the published fair-use limits shown at purchase. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to disrupt it.
Availability
This is a young product in beta. We may change, pause, or discontinue features. If we shut the service down we'll give notice and refund unused prepaid sand.
Liability
Sandcastles is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous three months. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything else that cannot legally be limited.
